Responsibilities •Establishing personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devising strategies to meet those goals. •Maintaining product knowledge of new and pre-owned inventory; understanding vehicle features and describing their benefit to customers. •Demonstrating automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; participating in test drives; comparing and contrasting competitive models; explaining warranties and services. •Prospecting daily for potential customers; maintaining consistent rapport with previously sold customers. •Learning to overcome objections; asking for the sale; negotiating the sale; completing lease and purchase agreements; explaining warranties, services, and other dealership products. •Following dealership safety policies and procedures. Requirements •Previous experience as an automobile salesperson, with a proven sales history. •Internet sales experience a plus. •Confidence in your ability to be successful. •Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. •Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic. •Great attitude with a high-energy personality. •Superior customer service skills. •A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment. •Self-starter and self-motivated. •Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
