New Hyundai Hybrids

Elantra Hybrid
A veteran of the compact car class, the Hyundai Elantra has evolved into one of the segment's most compelling models. It's stylish, practical, and nicely equipped for an attractive value proposition. It's also available in a variety of powertrain options, including a highly efficient hybrid. The Elantra Hybrid Blue has an EPA-estimated rating of 54 mpg combined (51 city/58 highway), while trims with larger wheels (Sport, Limited) achieve a still-impressive EPA-rated 50 mpg (49 city/52 highway).1

Sonata Hybrid
A family sedan doesn't have to be boring. The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is an outstanding midsize car with a refined and roomy cabin, easy driving dynamics, and a sharp-looking exterior aesthetic. It also provides many comfort, convenience, and tech amenities, including standard features like heated, power-adjustable front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and Smart Cruise Control. The electric-assisted 2.0-liter powertrain produces 192 horsepower, while achieving an EPA-rated 47 mpg (44 city/51 highway).1

Tucson Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid
The Hyundai Tucson is a superb compact crossover and among the most well-rounded and value-packed options in the industry's most crowded class. It offers ample passenger accommodations, cozy seats, cutting-edge tech features, and up to 80 cubic feet of max cargo capacity. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid uses a battery-assisted 1.6-liter turbo-four, generating a peppy 231 horsepower/258 pound-feet of torque, with an EPA-estimated 38 (Blue) or 35 (SEL, N Line, Limited) mpg combined.1
The Tucson Plug-in Hybrid adds a larger electric powertrain to the turbo-four engine, increasing horsepower to 261 while achieving an EPA-estimated 80 MPGe (miles-per-gallon equivalent). It also enables 33 miles of electric-only range, making it an excellent way to enjoy EV driving without switching to 100-percent battery power.1

Santa Fe Hybrid
Hyundai recently gave the Santa Fe a complete redesign for the model's fifth generation. New attributes include a bold yet sophisticated exterior design, upgraded amenities and tech features, and, most notably, a large interior with three rows of seating for up to seven passengers. The fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe also added a new hybrid variant (231 horsepower, 271 pound-feet of torque) rated at 36 mpg (FWD) or 34 mpg (AWD).1
Hyundai EVs

Kona Electric
While it's technically a subcompact crossover, the Hyundai Kona is sized near the larger end of the segment, allowing it to deliver impressive comfort and practicality while retaining city-friendly space requirements. With the single-motor, front-wheel-drive Kona Electric, Hyundai aims to make EV ownership more accessible to a wider audience. Most models have a 201-horsepower motor and a 64.8-kWh battery with an estimated 261 miles of range. A recently introduced value-oriented model, the Kona Electric SE has a 48.6-kWh battery, trading a bit of performance and range (133 horsepower, ~200 miles) for a reduced price tag while remaining nicely equipped.1

IONIQ 5
The Hyundai IONIQ 5 changed the EV game when it first launched in 2022. It garnered widespread acclaim for its engaging driving demeanor, retro-futuristic style, and advanced features - not to mention its strong range estimates and ultra-fast charging capability. The IONIQ 5 quickly filled up its trophy case, earning many prestigious accolades, including World Car of the Year (2022), Car and Driver EV of the Year (2022), and numerous Car and Driver 10Best awards (2023, 2024, 2025).
New for 2025, the IONIQ 5 upgrades to an 84-kWh battery. Most RWD models produce 225 hp and 258 pound-feet of torque and achieve an estimated 318 miles of range. AWD models generate 320 horsepower/446 pound-feet of torque and have EPA ratings from 259 to 290 miles, depending on the configuration.
The "SE Standard Range" is nicely equipped yet value-oriented (200 miles; 168 horsepower), while the exhilarating, high-performance IONIQ 5 N has 641 horsepower and 221 miles of range.1

IONIQ 6
After the immense success of the IONIQ 5 crossover, Hyundai expanded its award-winning EV brand into new territory with the IONIQ 6. This midsize electric sedan offers a similar experience to the IONIQ 5 in terms of features and drivability. However, it does so in a sleeker and sportier package. More than a superficial cosmetic choice, the IONIQ 6's aerodynamic profile helps it achieve an impressive 342 miles of EPA-estimated range in its most efficient configuration.1

IONIQ 9
As Hyundai's EV brand continues to stake out new territory, the all-new Hyundai IONIQ 9 is among the first fully electric vehicles to accommodate larger families. This midsize three-row SUV offers comfortable seating for six or seven passengers, up to 86.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity, and a 110.3-kWh battery, good for up to a Hyundai-projected ~335 miles of range. It also boasts many luxurious amenities, plus advanced tech features like dual 12.3-inch driver displays, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and an extensive suite of Hyundai SmartSense driver aids.
